1. Who we are
aura is a mobile app that supports your journey to quit smoking and nicotine. Data controller contact: aura@budun.com.tr
2. What data we process
- Habit details: product type (cigarette/vape etc.), daily amount, pack price, quit method and date — needed to compute your progress (savings, health milestones).
- Usage records: "I smoked" logs, NRT doses, mood entries, trigger notes. Stored primarily on your device; consumption logs are also synced to our server for your account.
- Anonymous account: the app creates an anonymous account (random ID) without asking for email or phone. It is not linked to your identity unless you choose to.
- Analytics: anonymised usage events (e.g. "onboarding completed") via Google Firebase Analytics — for product improvement only; no ad profiling.
- Subscription details: your Premium status and period. Payment is processed by Apple/Google; your card details never reach us.
- Invite codes: your own invite code and, if you used one, whose invitation you joined through. Used only to calculate reward days.
3. Where your data lives
Primary storage is your device (deleting the app deletes on-device data). Synced records are stored on our server (aura.budun.com.tr) and transferred over encrypted HTTPS.
4. Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. Only the infrastructure providers needed to run the service process it: Google Firebase (anonymous analytics), RevenueCat (subscription and purchase validation: your anonymous account ID and the store receipt) and Google AdMob (non-personalised ads in the free version; Premium users never see ads).
5. Your rights (GDPR / KVKK)
- Access & portability: in-app Settings → Privacy & my data → Export my data gives you everything as JSON.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): Delete my account and all data wipes on-device data instantly; deletion of synced server records is completed within 30 days.
- Objection & rectification: email us; we respond within 30 days.
6. Children
aura is for adults 18+ only; we do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Changes
Updates to this policy are published on this page; significant changes are announced in-app.
